Pasco County Jail Roster Overview

The county jail roster is published by Pasco Corrections, the county department that took over jail operations from the Pasco Sheriff's Office in 2022. The live tool is called Pasco Corrections - In Custody, and it loads every current inmate when the page opens. A second tool, Past Arrests, holds prior booking records. The county does not post an exact refresh interval, so treat the roster as current but not instant.

The roster does not cover everyone connected to a Pasco arrest. Sentenced state prisoners move to the Florida Department of Corrections offender search. Federal prisoners appear in the Bureau of Prisons locator, and immigration detainees appear in the ICE system. A person can drop off the county roster while still being held somewhere else, which is why the access channels below matter.

How to Use the Pasco County Inmate Roster

The roster opens at the In Custody route on the Pasco Corrections site and needs no login. On a desktop, the search fields sit in the table header under each column. On a phone, a Search button appears. The steps below cover a standard lookup.

1. Open jailinfo.pascocorrections.net at the In Custody route.
2. Type the inmate's last name into the last-name filter.
3. Add a first name, a date of birth, or a booking number to narrow a common name.
4. Open the row to read the arrest, charges, bond, and booking photo where one exists.

A row is opened by an internal name ID, not by booking number, so search by name first and use the booking number to confirm a match.

Pasco County Roster Search Fields

The In Custody tool filters on a small set of fields. A switch labeled "Include last 48 hours active bookings" turns on a recent-bookings mode and disables some fields while it is on. The table below lists each field and how it behaves.

Note: A value of "Currently Unavailable" in the end-of-sentence column does not mean no bond, no charge, or no release date; it is simply the value the roster returned.

Common Pasco County Jail Record Terms

A roster profile uses booking and corrections terms that are easy to misread. A few short definitions make the inmate record clearer before you draw any conclusion from it.

Booking

The administrative entry into the jail after an arrest, with identity data, a photo, and charges recorded.

Central booking

The intake area shown as the facility value on some Pasco records.

Bond

Money or conditions a judge sets to allow release while a case is pending.

No-bond hold

A status that blocks release until a judge changes it or another hold clears.

Disposition

The status or result tied to a charge, such as sentenced.

End of sentence

A projected county-jail release date when one is available, or "Currently Unavailable."

Booking and Intake in Pasco County

An arrest leads to booking before a record ever reaches the roster. The arresting agency transports the person to Pasco Corrections for booking, often through central booking. Intake records name, date of birth, race, sex, age, and a booking number with a date and time. The jail captures or links a booking photo, then records the arrest type, agency, and case information.

Charges are entered next, each with a sequence number, description, statute code, felony or misdemeanor class, bond amount, and any bond note. After intake, the booking appears on the public roster while the person is in custody, and the record stays searchable later through Past Arrests. A first appearance before a judge follows, where charges, rights, and release conditions are addressed. The roster shows custody and booking data from this process, not the court's final decision on the case.

Finding Pasco County, State, and Federal Inmates

The county roster is only one of four custody systems, and using the wrong one wastes time. Pretrial detainees and short county sentences stay on the Pasco Corrections In Custody roster. Once a person is sentenced to state prison, the record moves to the Florida Department of Corrections offender search, which can be searched by DC number or by name. That is a separate stage of custody, so the county roster will no longer show the person.

Federal and immigration custody run on national systems. Sentenced federal prisoners appear in the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator, where the register number reads as five digits, a dash, and three digits. Immigration detainees appear in the ICE detainee locator, which asks for a full name with an A-number or date of birth and country of birth. No federal prison and no ICE detention center sit inside Pasco County, so a federal detainee may be held elsewhere under a U.S. Marshals arrangement.

Pasco County Past Arrests and Records

Someone released from the jail will not appear on the In Custody roster. Pasco Corrections runs a separate Past Arrests search for prior bookings. Its columns are first, middle, and last name, suffix, date of birth, and end of sentence, and it does not offer a booking-number filter. The page carries a notice that any records before October 1, 2022 must be verified by the arresting agency.

So search Past Arrests for a released person, then follow the page's instruction for anything older than that October 2022 cutoff.

Records Request and Phone Fallbacks

When a record is not online, the access channel depends on the kind of record. Jail custody questions go to Pasco Corrections through the jail information line. Law-enforcement reports and background checks go to the Pasco Sheriff Records Department. Court charges and certified copies go to the Clerk. The county public-records page accepts requests by letter, email, phone, in person, or through an online portal. It routes sheriff reports and background checks to the Pasco Sheriff Records Department, where a requester may stay anonymous and identification is not required. Court charges, dockets, and certified copies are a different custodian and go to the Pasco Clerk & Comptroller, not to the jail. The Sheriff processes requests in the order received and may charge for the review and redaction of exempt material, with a good-faith estimate given before any paid work begins.

Pasco County Jail Visitation Hours

Pasco handles visits through a vendor video system rather than open in-person contact. Visitors age 18 and older must register, visits must be scheduled at least 17 hours ahead and up to two weeks out, and a personal video visit can run up to 20 minutes. Note: The official page gives conflicting offsite video rates of $0.17 and $0.25 per minute, so confirm the current rate with the vendor before scheduling.

How to Contact a Pasco County Inmate

Pasco does not accept personal mail at the jail. Personal mail is scanned by a vendor and made available on tablets, and the physical copies are destroyed 60 days after upload. Personal mail goes to a Texas processing address, while privileged mail and government checks go directly to the Land O' Lakes facility. Phone service runs through ICSolutions at $0.08 per minute plus tax, and electronic messages cost $0.25 each up to 5,000 characters.
